Solus Decor designs and builds beautiful high-quality designer firepits and water features. I manage four regional websites for this international company. I designed their original UK regional site, and they asked me back to refresh it and add online purchasing. The project was so successful, I ended up designing a similar site for their EU operations, which autotranslates into (at last count) 10 languages, with more to come.
During the UK redevelopment for their British customers I:
- Converted a ‘brochure’ website site to a fully functional ecommerces site without the expense of recreating existing content and design features.
- Improved their management and display of support and warrantee documents, and the look and feel of product pages
- Added international inventory and parts management right on the site
- Set up live integration with Google Marketplace so that products including their images, pricing and stock status could be displayed in google shopping, for increased exposure and ad potential.
- Installed customer service chat feature to allow sales agents to assist customers right on the site and collect messages from leads outside business hours.
