1 Security and Monitoring Subscription $359/year
For $35 CND a month (or $359/year) I provide technical oversight to your site, which includes off-site backups of your site, updates to your software and plugins as relevant (paid/pro plugins may incur renewal expenses), malware and downtime monitoring, and responding to security notices. Get a confusing message from your hosting company, or someone who says they are? Forward it to me and I’ll deal with it. Discovering getting hacked is really disruptive and expensive to fix? Let’s prevent that.
2 Security Plus Content Updates Subscription $1199/year
This service provides the security and monitoring above, plus up to an hour per month of additional service including answering questions, uploading new content to your site (your latest blog post or images, uploading your newsletter, administering your hosting or domain services or minor text changes as requested). The one hour limit resets each month.
$1199 a year (a $2160/value!).
3 Keeping It Fresh (and Safe) Package $2399/year
This package includes all the services above, plus one custom human-written blog post (500-750 words) per month, optimized for SEO and posted to your site and up to two of your social media platforms. Blog post will be on a topic relevant to your business, SEO optimized to attract clients to your site, written by an experienced technical writer with 20 years experience writing content and information documents for business. Because of the need to familiarize myself with your industry and relevant topics in order to write for you, this service is only available as a yearly subscription but can be billed either yearly or monthly. You can supply a list of general topics or keywords you’d like featured. In a sea of AI-generated content, human-written content by a skilled and experienced writer really stands out. $2399 / year (a $3900 value)..
Support and Updates Subscription
Answering questions, providing instruction by phone, email or zoom, adding text, images or pdf files you provide to your site. Pre-purchase a yearly support and update package and save: up to 4 hours per year: $469 ($580 value), up to 6 hours per year: $696 ($870 value), Up to 8 hours per year: $928 ($1160 value). Up to 12 hours per year: $1389/year ($1740 value).

Services provided Monday to Friday 10 am – 6 pm, with a turnaround time for non-emergency issues of 1-2 business days. You can opt to have any staff member access service, or designate one or two specific one. Payment for subscriptions is in advance on either a monthly automatic billing cycle charged to your credit card, or pre-paid by yearly invoice. Expenses for software, hosting or other services renewed on your behalf is billed separately. Services cancelled within the year are refunded as if the hours already worked were billed at full rate.
