Lesbian Quarterly is a project that began in 2004 as a print magazine devoted to promoting queer women in business and has since grown to be an online magazine. It provides profiles of lesbians (trans inclusive), with a focus on lesbians in BC, along with writing on dating and relationships. It fills a gap in the market for intersectional feminist content that focusses on queer women and lesbians in particular. I have served as editor, publisher and writer on the magazine since it’s inception. My work on LQ has led to featured writer work on several other publications including What’s On Queer BC and corporate publications directed to Pride month. LQ provides examples of my voice when writing about and for LGBTQ people – friendly, helpful, factual, accepting, intersectional. www.lesbianquarterly.com
